Cross Country 2024 (for Years 3 to 6)

Time: 9:15 AM-2:00 PM
Location: Flockhart Park

Our annual Cross Country will be held on Wednesday 1 May 2024 at Flockhart Park in Croydon Park. All Harcourt students in Years 3-6 will be walking to and from the venue under teacher supervision. All students need to be at school by 9.15am Students will need: Clothes and shoes suitable for running (in their house colours) School Hat and Sunscreen Water (suggest 2 bottles) Crunch-n-Sip, recess and lunch (NOTE: Ordering food from the canteen will not be an option / available) Your child does not have to wear their school uniform but should dress in their House colours. See colours below. Bass = Green Hume = Blue Cook = Red Sturt = Yellow In the event of wet weather, please check the Harcourt Audiri app for updates from 8am on the day.

Stage 3 (Yrs 5 & 6) Science Excursion

Date: 06 May
Time: 8:45 AM-3:15 PM
Location: Symbio Wildlife Park

Stage 3 (Years 5 & 6) students will participate in an excursion to learn how the environment affects the growth, survival and adaptation of living things. This excursion complements the Science unit students are currently studying which focuses on plant and animal adaptations. Please refer to our parent portal for more details relating to this event.

Tree Planting initiative 2024

Date: 07 May
Time: 9:30 AM-1:15 PM
Location: Harcourt Public School

Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6) students will work with the 'Cooling the Schools' team to plant 200 plants to create shade and a native habitat on school grounds. Their aim is to reduce urban heat, support native pollinators, and create greener, healthier places for children to learn and explore.

Mother's Day Stall 2024

Location: Harcourt Public School

Our P & C will provide a Mother's Day Stall today so that students can purchase gifts for their family members. A timetable will be arranged for each class to visit the hall to make their optional purchases.

June

Spelling Bee Final (Years 3 to 6)

Date: 18 June
Time: 12:00-1:15 PM
Location: Harcourt Public School

Harcourt's Spelling Bee Final will be run in the hall. Stage 3 competition will occur at 12noon. Stage 2 competition will occur at 12.45pm. The winner from each Stage will advance to the regional final at a date and locate to be advised.
