Kindergarten Transition Program
Is your child starting Kindergarten in 2017? Harcourt offers a wonderful transition program for our new students.
What is Transition?
For young children, moving from preschool or home to Kindergarten is one of the most significant transitions they will experience.The transition program allows parents and students access to a variety of opportunities which will better prepare them for school life.
What are the benefits of a transition program?
A transition program provides opportunities for:
¿social and emotional development to prepare students for school life;
¿becoming familiar with school routines; supporting families in assisting their children's learning before and during Kindergarten;
¿forming positive relationships between children and their families with the school.

¿Fortnightly transition sessions in Term 3 on Thursdays
¿Parents are welcome to attend transition sessions.
¿Children will take home work each day outlining what they have done.
